Stories have kept me up late at night since I learned to read (roughly 36 years ago). I started writing shortly after, but didn't start publishing anything until 2010 when I began selling magazine articles. I currently have three manuscripts out on submission.
I live in Montana with my cowboy husband and three kids. We are involved in agriculture. I spent time every day writing and working on manuscripts, but when I'm not at my computer you can find me cooking, checking cows, running a theater troupe at our local high school, or at sports events with my kids.
Writing for youth is rewarding because let's face it--adults don't always get it. Plus, I don't want to truly grow up--even though technically I've been adulting for a couple decades.
